Roger L. Mann

Roger L. Mann is the retired Chairman of The Huntington National Bank's Greater Akron/Canton Region. Prior to Huntington's acquisition of Unizan Financial Corp. in March 2006, Mann served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Unizan Financial Corp. and Chairman of the Board of Unizan Bank, National Association, headquartered in Canton, Ohio. Prior to the merger between BancFirst Ohio Corp. and UNB Corp., which formed Unizan Financial Corp. in March of 2002, Mann was Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer of UNB Corp. Mann has been with the organization since 1997. Mann was in the banking industry for more than 38 years, starting his career with San Diego Trust & Savings Bank and LoJolla Bank & Trust Company, San Diego, California. He joined Bank One Corporation in 1991 and was Chairman and CEO of Community Bank, North Region, which was comprised of four separately chartered banks in the State of Ohio.

Roger L. Mann holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio and a Master's degree in Business Administration from National University in San Diego, California. From 1967 to 1970, Mann was a Navy Lieutenant J.G. and served two tours of duty in Vietnam, for which he received five commendations. Mann served on the Advisory Board of Tatonka Capital Corporation in Denver, Colorado; was a member of the foundation board of Stark State College; was a Director for the First Bank of Bexley in Columbus, Ohio; and a Director for the Sisters of Charity Hospital System headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio. Mann is Past Chair of the Board of Mercy Hospital, Past President of Brookside Country Club, and is a Past State Trustee for the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges. Mann Previously served on the Boards of Malone University, the canton Chamber of Commerce, Arts in Stark, and the United Way of Stark County.
